Now it has been transformed once again, back to its traditional purpose and glory, with a twist of modern flair. PROJECT SPOTLIGHTS 12 ALBERTA A PLACE TO HEAL The new Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Calgary, Alberta, was designed with patients and their healing and wellbeing as the number one priority. In fact, early conversations pondered, “what if a building could give a hug?” Team members from every organization involved set out to make that hug a reality. 16 SASKATCHEWAN A GRAND PRIZE PROJECT For nearly a century, proceeds from The Kinsmen Home Lottery have supported the needs of people living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
